VFW 2179 and Shore Area Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 12 have joined together to give back to those in our community who rely on food banks to put food on the table to feed their families. Food banks are struggling with the increase in the demand. Since The community has given so much to us, we want to give back. Veterans are stepping up to help those in need by holding a live music fundraiser on June 11, at the VFW, 2179, 1 Veterans Way, Port Monmouth, from 1-5pm. Donations at the door is $20.00. Food and soft beverages are supplied.
