Fulfill recently announced a $20,000 Major Grant from The Provident Bank Foundation to support its Culinary Training Program with After School Meals. This generous grant will help low-income adults achieve a sustainable income in a viable career, while also providing daily meals for low-income children participating in local after school programs.
“One in ten people struggle with hunger in Monmouth and Ocean Counties,” said Laura Chiappetta, Director of Development. “The majority of people we serve are working families with low-paying jobs that do not provide a sufficient income to cover basic needs, like rent and food. With the assistance of organizations like The Provident Bank Foundation, we can provide the job skills that people need to end chronic hunger. We are fortunate to have a partner like The Provident Bank Foundation, who supports programs that ensure people of all ages and means have the ability to improve the quality of their lives.”
