The Backpack Program provides kids with a backpack of nutritious, easy-to-prepare foods. Backpacks are usually filled on Fridays or before school vacations.
The Kids Café program provides daily hot meals for children at after-school programs at the Boys and Girls Clubs in Asbury Park and Red Bank and through the Ocean County YMCA.
The Summer Meals Program provides free breakfasts and lunches to lower-income kids attending summer recreational progams.

Our Mobile Pantry distributes food in locations that are not well-served by pantries. You may visit these sites to receive non-perishable food, as well as fresh produce and baked goods.
Our Culinary Training Program can help you get permanent employment in the hospitality industry here in Monmouth & Ocean Counties. You’ll receive help obtaining and keeping a job in our shore area hospitality industry. The program is free for qualified applicants. Through this program, you’ll receive:
12 weeks of on-site food preparation and classroom training provided by a trained chef with years of experience
An additional week of job shadowing at another food establishment to boost experience
The opportunity to receive CPR Certification and ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification.

Extra funds for food can help you get through some of the rough patches in life. The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) can provide you with financial benefits each month that can be used to buy food.
Health coverage protects you and your family against very high expenses if you get sick or hurt. You may qualify for very low cost or free healthcare – financial assistance is available. In New Jersey, if you don’t have health coverage, you may have to pay a penalty when you file your taxes.

If you need help, Fulfill is a state Navigator agency, and our trained healthcare experts can help you find insurance that meets your needs as well as provides financial assistance to pay for the insurance, if you qualify, both through the Marketplace and NJ FamilyCare. 8 out 10 people in NJ qualify for financial assistance.
While open enrollment for the Marketplace ends January 31, the enrollment period for those eligible for NJ FamilyCare is year round.

The Financial Success Center provides Monmouth and Ocean County residents with comprehensive resources under one roof to help them move from financial difficulty to economic well being. Services are FREE and include:
Job Search and career planning resources
Money management tools and financial coaching
Tax return preparation
Home ownership counseling
Child care resources
Application assistance for SNAP and other benefits
Enrollment in health insurance programs
The Center is a partnership between Fulfill Monmouth & Ocean, Child Care Resources of Monmouth County, Monmouth County Workforce Investment Board, Navicore Solutions and United Way of Monmouth & Ocean Counties.
The Center is located at the Freehold Raceway Mall in the Meridian Community Resource Centers outside of Macy’s on the first floor of the mall.
Hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10:00am – 7:00pm and the second and fourth Saturdays of each month from 10:00am – 4:00pm.
Appointments are preferred but walk-ins are welcome.
