As I reflect on a year when the number of individuals and families relying on us for support has never been higher, I am grateful for the heartfelt generosity and passionate dedication I have witnessed from so many individuals we are privileged to count as part of our Fulfill family.
Thanks to YOU – our generous supporters, employees, volunteers, partners and friends – Fulfill has been able to:
- Distribute 14.3 million meals through our agency partner network
- Serve 103,000+ neighbors each month across Monmouth and Ocean counties
- Receive 4 million pounds of fresh produce from local farms, wholesalers, distributors and retailers for our neighbors facing hunger
- Benefit from more than 35,000 volunteer hours given graciously by our extraordinary team of hundreds of local volunteers
- Secure $4.9 million in grocery benefits through SNAP enrollment assistance
As Fulfill works to address food insecurity and its root causes, we do so in partnership and collaboration – with our volunteers, our supporters, and our network of food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, afterschool programs, and other partner sites that offer support to our neighbors in moments of need. Food insecurity affects people in every county in the U.S., and it doesn’t take a break during the holidays. Demand for food assistance remains heightened, and it takes all of us to respond.
During these final days of 2024, your generosity can go even further when it comes to third-party fundraising efforts – every dollar contributed to Fulfill through a third-party fundraiser through the end of the year will be matched up to $50,000, thanks to a generous donation from longtime supporter The Grunin Foundation.
