From our Team to You, What we’re Grateful for this Year
At Fulfill, November is one of the busiest and most meaningful times of the year. Beyond our normal services, the hustle and bustle of the giving season has us preparing and distributing holiday meal staples, sorting an influx of generous food donations, hosting additional volunteers, coordinating community food drives and more. Every effort is dedicated to ensuring that each and every family, senior citizen and individual across Monmouth and Ocean counties can sit down at the Thanksgiving dinner table for a nice, satisfying holiday meal.
In the spirit of the holiday and the season of gratitude, we would like to take a moment to reflect on the things for which we are grateful. From our compassionate donors and supporters and our dedicated volunteers to our network of devoted pantry partners and all the individuals and organizations in between, we thank you. It’s your collective support that is helping forge a path toward a hunger-free future for our neighbors.
Additionally, there is one particular group that we are especially grateful for – our incredible staff. Every day, members of the Fulfill staff work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that food reaches the tables of the 130,000 food-insecure neighbors in our communities. Today, as we face additional challenges stemming from the government shutdown and delays to SNAP benefits, their work is even more meaningful, more difficult and more critical than ever.
Every meal we serve carries the effort, care and dedication of our team. Whether working in our warehouse, making deliveries, preparing meals, coordinating services or managing volunteers and community programs, every employee plays an integral role in bringing our mission to life. Thanks to their hard work, our neighbors can lead healthy, meaningful lives filled with nourishing foods, dignity and hope. It’s a reminder that although resources are essential to our work, it’s the hearts and hands of our team that truly make ending hunger possible.
