Neptune, New Jersey, October 7, 2019 – It took one conversation with Fulfill President and CEO Kim Guadagno to convince Sally Boyer, a member of the Assurance Services Department at Ernst and Young, to organize a volunteer team to help at our Neptune Distribution Center. The volunteer group was part of the Ernst and Young Connect Day, where the whole company closes nationwide, and the staff volunteers at a charity of choice.
“Helping give Fulfill a face lift was an extremely rewarding experience for all our EY volunteers. All the Fulfill personnel were so happy and grateful for us being able to spend the day there volunteering. We cannot wait to come back again and see what our next project is!” said Boyer.
On a beautiful Friday morning, a team of 23 volunteers helped our resident gardener, Jess Sinkhorn, plant flowers and shrubs in the front of Fulfill’s building. The day consisted of the removal of existing plants from the front of the building and grading and prepping the soil, which lead to the planting of more than 200 freshly grown flowers and plants. To finish off the project, the group mulched the landscaping and created a beautiful Fulfill Autumn garden.
“We are so fortunate to have such wonderful volunteers. They are part of our Fulfill family,” added Guadagno.
