Camp Kids Against Hunger

September 2017, Neptune, NJ: Exciting events went on this summer here at Fulfill, as we brought together the children of Monmouth and Ocean Counties in our annual Camp Kids Against Hunger Program. The goal of this program is to bring together the students of the community in hopes to raise food and awareness for their fellow classmates who may be struggling over the summer period. With more participating camps than ever before, and an exciting program including themed weekdays and a thermometer goal setter, it is no wonder we did just that!

We at Fulfill are extremely eager to announce that the CKAH participants more than doubled the amount of food brought in than last year, wow! A total of 7,413 pounds of food was collected, or enough meals to feed 6,177 children and adults in need this summer- a record breaking number for this event!

With such tremendous results from this summer program, we would like to offer congratulations to our multi location winning team, Toms River Recreation Summer Playground Camp, and our single location winning team, Summer Hill in Wall, as well as all participating camps and counselors for their hard work and dedication to this cause.

Shout outs to our contenders:

Summer Hill Day Camp, Brookside School Summer Day Camp, Children of America Aberdeen, OCC Kids & Teens on Campus, Marlboro Recreation & Swim, Camp Zehnder, Camp Sacajawea, Hazlet Recreation, Voyagers’ Community School and Camp, Stafford Recreation Summer Camp, Toms River Recreation Summer Playground Camps, and Brielle Recreation!

Together, we have helped feed the struggling members of our community, and for that, we should all be proud!
