Fulfill to “Shine Light on Hunger” at 2020 Humanitarian Gala

ENCON President David Indursky Honored as Humanitarian of the Year

Neptune, New Jersey, March 5, 2020 – Fulfill, formerly The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties, is proud to announce that ENCON Owner and President David Indursky will be its 2020 Gala Honoree at its “Shine Light on Hunger” Humanitarian Gala on March 27th at the Eatontown Sheraton.

“I’m so humbled to be recognized by Fulfill, such an incredible organization making a difference locally. ENCON is so proud to help support Fulfill’s vision to alleviate hunger and build food security in Monmouth and Ocean Counties,” said David Indursky, President of ENCON.

“I want to thank David personally, and on behalf of everyone at Fulfill, for helping us feed our neighbors in need. ENCON, a locally owned family business in Ocean Township, is among the most socially responsible companies in New Jersey thanks to David’s leadership, kindness, and generosity. David’s support of Fulfill will impact Fulfill and our neighbors in Monmouth and Ocean Counties for years to come. David is the perfect choice for us to name as 2020 Humanitarian of the Year,” said Fulfill CEO and President Kim Guadagno, the former Lieutenant Governor of New Jersey.

Fulfill’s annual gala honors remarkable humanitarians, recognizing individuals who have exhibited extraordinary loyalty and commitment towards helping those in need. David pledged a leadership gift to Fulfill over the next five years and donated services in excess of $100,000 in project management and labor associated with electrical work and cooler installation in Fulfill’s warehouse. In addition, ENCON conducted Fulfill’s energy audit at no cost. David is also the Chair of Make-A-Wish New Jersey.

The “Shine Light on Hunger” Humanitarian Gala is the largest annual fundraiser for Fulfill, with the hope of raising enough money to provide 1.2 MILLION MEALS in one night. It will be an evening of dancing, live music by The Nines, an array of gourmet specialty stations, an ice cream sundae and root beer float bar, an open bar, and luxurious live auction items. Among the auction items: a yacht party on the Navesink River with live music, a five-course meal for ten people, and drinks, two opening weekend Yankee Legend tickets for the 4/4/20 game vs. the Toronto Blue Jays with seats behind home plate by the Yankees’ dugout, and a one week vacation at a private, nine bedroom beach house in the Outerbanks.
