Fulfill’s Restaurant Partnership Program Serves
350,000 Meals to People in Need!

Soup kitchens closed. Food pantries shut down. We had to find a way to feed our hungry
neighbors when the pandemic struck…

Fulfill immediately partnered with local restaurants to meet the growing demand for food.

Restaurants were given a five-dollar stipend per meal, increased later in the year to seven
dollars. The process has kept restaurant employees working, while feeding those in need.

Fulfill is now proud to announce that our Restaurant Partnership Program has served 350,000
meals in Monmouth and Ocean Counties through a network of more than 30 participating
restaurants at the Jersey Shore!

The program filled the gap at schools when in person classes were cancelled. Students in the
Keansburg, Asbury Park, Belmar, Toms River, Freehold Borough, Lakehurst, and Keansburg
school districts, and their families, were among those to receive nutritious meals. Seniors and
veterans at risk of hunger also received meals.

We are grateful to the Restaurant Workers Community Foundation and our other generous
donors for funding the continuation of this program. For more information about Fulfill’s
Restaurant Partnership Program, email Robin Gardiner at rgardiner@fulfillnj.org.
