Meet Our 2019 Humanitarian: Chris Sullens

The 2019 Fulfill Humanitarian Gala is approaching, March 15th! Tickets, ads, and sponsorships are still available.

We are happy to highlight one of this year’s 2019 honorees, Chris Sullens, Chief Executive of CentralReach in Holmdel. Mr. Sullens is recognized as a humanitarian for his remarkable loyalty and commitment toward helping those in need in the fight against hunger. Chris was chosen for his commitment to the betterment of our community. Chris’s humanitarian mindset expands into the mission of his company, CentralReach.

Chris Sullens lead his company in its mission to provide expert solutions that enable applied behavior analysis (ABA) clinicians and educators to produce superior client outcomes for people with autism and related disorders.  Prior to CentralReach, Sullens spent 10 years as President and CEO of WorkWave, a leading provider of cloud-based software solutions for the field service and last mile logistics industries, which was recently acquired by IFS, a Swedish-based enterprise software company.

Both CentralReach and WorkWave have enjoyed great success in the marketplace, creating hundreds of local jobs in Monmouth and Ocean Counties during his tenure.  Under Sullens leadership, both companies have won multiple Best Place to Work awards from NJBiz and Inc. while also being recognized for their growth by Inc., Deloitte, and NJBiz.  Additionally, Sullens was named 2016 EY Entrepreneur of the Year in NJ for Software Services and won a Stevie award for People Focused CEO of the Year in 2017.

Chris attributes this success to creating a strong, mission-driven culture centered on compassion, humility, collaboration and a focus on doing the right thing.  This “do the right thing” approach extends beyond the traditional employees, clients, partners and shareholders to include the local communities in which it has a presence.  Through his charitable trust and the culture of giving created within his companies, hundreds of hours and tens of thousands of dollars have been donated to organizations such as  Autism Speaks, Surfers for Autism, Clean Ocean Action, Collier Youth Services, EarthShare NJ, Ronald McDonald House and Fulfill to help them realize their important mission of helping those in the community in their time of need.  And through CentralReach, this dedication to helping the local community will accelerate and deepen going forward.

Chris is both humbled and honored to be recognized by Fulfill as a 2019 Humanitarian of the Year and congratulates his fellow honorees, Ray & Elsie Catena and the Family of Dealerships.

“I’m honored to be recognized as Humanitarian of the Year at Fulfill’s 2019 Humanitarian Gala for both my personal commitment along with my companies’ commitment to ending hunger for those that are less fortunate in Monmouth and Ocean County,” – Chris Sullens
