This year Fulfill will be honoring  Ray & Elsie Catena & the Ray Catena Family of Dealerships and Chris Sullens, CEO, CentralReach.

Fulfill, formerly the FoodBank of Monmouth & Ocean Counties, provides hope to over 130,000 people struggling with the effects of hunger and food insecurity. In 2018, we distributed over 13 million meals to individuals and families in need, through our network of more than 300 feeding partners. Fulfill has the highest rating from Charity Navigator, 96 cents of every dollar Fulfill raises goes to food and programs. Our Humanitarian Gala historically raises $400,00 in one evening.

Fulfill’s Humanitarian Gala, the first since the name change from The FoodBank of Monmouth & Ocean Counties,  was held at Ocean Place Resort in Long Branch and featured music from Shorty Long and the Jersey Horns.

Last year’s 2018 honorees were; The Storino Family: Jenkinson’s Boardwalk & Casino Pier, Manasquan Bank and Agency Partner Keyport Ministerium Food Pantry.

“This year’s honorees, including a boardwalk and a bank, led us immediately to a Monopoly Game Gala Theme, which was a huge success with funds raised by generous donors who attended, supporting more than 1 million meals for our neighbors in need,” said Diana Flippo, Development Manager.  “Guests shopped for some exciting auction gifts, including a beautiful 9-bedroom vacation home on the banks of the North Carolina coast, and a Chef prepared meal for 12 accompanied by a private concert performed by local musician Taylor Tote. They also had a chance to hear from a group of Humanitarians who inspired others to get more involved in their community.”  Fulfill’s mission is to alleviate hunger and build food secure communities in Monmouth and Ocean Counties.  95 cents of every dollar goes directly to food and programs.
