Neptune, NJ –(February 22, 2016) – Southside Johnny continues to support The FoodBank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties by generating awareness about hunger and raising funds during his Stone Pony two-night soul concert at The Stone Pony on February 26 and 27.
FoodBank representatives will be on site to collect monetary donations during the concert on both nights. The FoodBank provides food and resources to 132,000 people in Monmouth and Ocean Counties including 40,000 children. “We know how important community is to Southside Johnny, whose roots at the Shore are deep, and we appreciate his continued support of the FoodBank when the band is performing locally. A dollar can provide 3 meals and we need to remind those in our serving area that 1 in 10 people do not have enough to eat. It’s great that people can enjoy a night of incredible music and help their neighbors in need at the same time,” said Linda Keenan, FoodBank Director of Development.
